I received this error on any sharepoint page that tried to commit to the database. My content database transaction log was full.

You can either shrink the log, or make more room on the hard drive. I recommend you schedule a task to shrink the log periodically.

I’ve shrunk my logs, there is plenty of space on the drive, and we’re still getting this error. Any other ideas?

Check your system and application logs for more infomation that could be useful.

Thanks, this post helped me realize what was going on, I had the same problem. Turns out my 1.3TB drive was out of space (down to 9 MB). This was because my backups weren’t overwriting each other :( I deleted the old ones and it worked!
